Post Office Closure

Wrawby Post Office

By the middle of April it is expected that the Post Office within the village will have closed. The date has yet to be finalised but the closure was confirmed following a Parliamentary vote. It is a sad loss to the village and will mean people will now have to travel to Brigg or Barnetby for various post office services.

The shop will stay open and continue to sell papers, groceries and other items. Ralph and Shirley Riggall will continue to run the shop and serve the village, as they have done so well for many years.

Annual General Meetings

March and April see the holding the Parish Council, Village Hall and St Mary's Parochial Church Councils AGMs. The Parish Council AGM was during March and is reported inside. The Village Hall has its AGM on 4th April and St Mary's PCC on 7th April. These give the population of Wrawby the chance to hear what is happening within these organisations and to question the officers. Please make the most of this opportunity and take the time to offer support and thanks to those who strive to take these organisations forward.
