The Village of the Year Judging took place on 22nd April. The judges were impressed with displays and with the quantity and variety of activities in the village. Although it looks as though we have not been selected as the regional finalist, we will learn later in the year if we have won any other prizes or commendations.
Our thanks to Louise and her team who arranged the splendid display for the judge's visit. Few of us realized how many clubs, activities and organizations are flourishing in the village.
