St Mary's Church

All are welcome to attend the Sunday Services at St. Mary's Church. Those on the 1st and 3rd Sunday are particularly arranged as joint services with the Methodist congregation. There is a Sunday School during services on the 2nd and 4th Sunday. The 9.00 am Wednesday Eucharist Service is a short (30 minute) Communion service. The 9.15 am Friday Morning Prayer is a short informal service with refreshments.

Lenten Bible Study

The Lenten Bible Study continues every Wednesday up to and including March 24th . We will be focussing on 'Jesus - A man alone' meditating on the seven last words of Jesus on the cross.

The study group takes place at the home of Marian Toyne, Glebe Farmhouse, Tunnel Road. All are welcome. Phone 01652 650016 if you require further details and/or directions.



Congratulations to Marian and Dee Toyne on the success of their coffee morning to raise money for the victims of the devastating earthquake in Haiti. They raised £270.00, which is being donated to Christian Aid to be used directly towards the relief effort. Marian and Dee would also like to thank everyone who supported the coffee morning.

Wrawby Horticultural Society AGM will be held on 23rd March at 7.00pm in St Mary’s church in Wrawby. Everyone is welcome to attend.


Wrawby Community Choir

Wrawby Community Choir welcomes its new members, especially the four men! The choir is still keen to recruit further new members (and particularly male voices). The choir meets most Wednesdays in term time for an hour at the church. Rehearsals are informal and there are no auditions. The choir will be singing at the Mothering Sunday service at St Mary’s on 14th March. If you are interested in joining, please ring Caroline on 653155.


Kirton Karate

Congratulations to everyone who achieved their belts with Kirton Karate in the December grading. Karate offers many benefits such as confidence, fitness, stamina, self-discipline and fun. Anyone looking for a new challenge and is aged 5 or over is welcome to come along. Kirton Karate is also organising an annual summer karate camp. Thoughts and suggestions are welcome via the club forum on its new website www.kirtonkarate.co.uk


Mill Openings

Wrawby Post Mill Open Days for 2010

The Mill is open between the hours of 2 pm and 5 pm on the following days:

5th April - 3rd May - 31st May - 27th June - 25th July - 30th August

Admission - Adults £2, Children £1

The Mill can be opened by special arrangement and souvenirs can be purchased at any time.
